A CASE OF SEPTIC BOIL MANAGED WITH HOMOEOPATHY

ABSTRACT: This article includes the clinical understanding of the teaching of our Organon of Medicine & Homoeopathic Philosophy that, whatever it maybe the name of the disease or the

pathology; if the patient shows characteristic signs & symptoms of a particular medicine, as an individual holistic reaction of the life force, then that act as the specific remedy in that case.

Along with, what is to be the similia, to restore the sick to health, & how it occurs (reverse pathology), to cure the cases homoeopathically? And what is curable in disease and what is

curative in medicines are also express in this article.

  • Introduction: Septic Boil – A boil is a pus filled bump that develops in our skin usually begins as redbumps, which quickly increase in size and fill with pus and those are usually caused by bacteria Staphylococcus aureus.These painful skin abscesses usually from bacteria, infecting a hair follicle. Commonly occur on face, neck, armpits, buttocks, and thighs, but can appear anywhere on our body. Many boils get better with at home treatment, as warm compresses. Large boils may needs treatment by healthcare professional. As the boil develops, it shows symptoms: boil becomes painful, fills with pus, grows in size, has a yellow or white center, may crust over, and might spread to other areas. Causes: Boils are usually caused by the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus, but other bacteria and fungi can cause them too. Anyone can develop a boil, but certain factors can increase our risk. Theserisk factors are: close contact with someone having such infection, have obesity, having skin disorder as eczema, low immune system in cancer or diabetes. Management: A boil should never prick with a pin or sharp object to release the pus and fluid that may spread to other parts of skin. Apply warm, moist compresses several times to relieve the pain. If boil on the spine or on face special care to be needed. Prevention: Avoid close contact with such infected person, wash hands frequently with soap, sanitizer, regular bath, maintain personal hygiene, don’t share or reuse washcloths, towels and sheets. Complication: Recurrent boils can be a sign of a life-threatening infection called methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus. Rarely boil can enter bloodstream, causes sepsis, into brain – meningitis, just under the skin cellulitis, spread to spinal cord, bones, heart and other organs, lead to severe infection and even death of the patient1.

Case:

  1. 03.2023, Saturday: U.H. 37/Male, A case of septic Boil at right abdomen for last 7 days, came to my telephone consultation having severe pain on the boil, very sensitive to touch, history of mechanically drainage of bloody pus a lot in quantity (Pic-1).

RX. Arnica 200/two doses, with Sac. Lac.; to be taken in empty stomach2, within 12 hours intervals.

  1. 03.2023, Sunday: After 24 hours from the 1st dose, no pain, no oozing, boil became dry (Pic-2).

RX. Placebo 200/two doses, to be taken 12 hours interval.

21.03.2023, Tuesday: After 72 hours from 1st dose, no pain, no oozing, boil became more dry, towards normal (Pic-3, 4).

RX. Placebo 200/two doses, to be taken 12 hours interval. No need of further medicine in this case.

REMARKS/ DISCUSSION:

    • No needs for further taking medicine until any new symptoms develop in this case.
    • Remember, that, every phenomena of a phenomenon is adjust in Individual’s body & mind (as cause & effects) according to heredity & acquire qualities of an individual upon the life force as an one episode and throughout the biography of the life there are so many episodes (layers) may developed and that one episode (layer) needs series of dose, potency, repetition of a single remedy or may needs series of remedies to eradicate it

(As per the rules of our “Second Prescription”, Repetition of the First Prescription and Change in the Second Prescription3); that’s why, long times follow up must be needed, for simplify the case, to restore the sick to health, for the ideal of cure.

    • No dressing, no water contact, keep it dry and see the result in this case presentation, prescription for the patient, not for the gross pathology. If given Hep.sul.,Sil., Mer.s. etc. never you see such result, rather than make it complicated with medicinal symptoms; that’s Hahnemannian, Kentean Immaterial Homoeopathy.

CONCLUSION:

How it’s possible? When the Homoeopathy is an Occupation, a Mission, a Commitment of Life and then the Omnipotence Truth must be discovered ‘to the one who loves law, it speaks in whispers, yet loud enough to be heard by that humble listener, and in a language that is not foreign to him, yea, though often it is only in a symbol or a cipher’.4
